How to serve

Wondering what you can do? Or whether you have anything to offer? Christ and his Holy Spirit have gifted you with special spiritual gifts so you have the Holy Spirit, God himself, working in you and through you. Our survey might help you see how your interests may be Spirit-shaped. Take the survey.

Do you wonder if your special talent might fit into our ministry? Talk to our pastor. He may be able to offer another perspective on how your concern or hobby might fit into our ministry. Email pastor.

Not the right time for an ongoing role? Join us for our Second Saturday Workday (the second Saturday of the month from 9 AM to noon - includes lunch!). Or schedule your own work day. We almost always have a project where you can serve Christ and his people! Email pastor.

There's a whole-wide-world out there needing Christ's love. Perhaps you're ready for an adventure with WELS Kingdom Workers or WELS Christian Aid and Relief. Check out their websites for exciting opportunities to serve Christ's people around the world. Learn more.

At St. John Lutheran Church, we work together as a family connected in Christ.

Called to serve

Christ calls us to witness to His love with our words and to embody His love with our lives. Through our St. John Lutheran Church ministry and with our St. John family, we offer a multitude of opportunities to put Christ's love and power into meaningful service.

Whether you prefer to work with your hands or your mind, alone or connecting with others, doing something you already know or expanding your horizons into something new for you, we have opportunities for you to serve Christ, His people, and His world.

"I can't say enough about the positive experience that my son has had at St. John Lutheran School. I am thrilled with the skills that he has learned which has given him such a strong foundation for academic success in the future! My son has gained valuable social skills as a result of attending St. John as well. Everyone who attends St. John is treated like family. It is this type of atmosphere that makes St. John such a special place, one that is dedicated to teaching the whole child."
